"Do I need to make an appointment for framing services?"

We do not take appointments. Framing services are walk-in only, on a first-come, first-served basis. Feel free to come in at your convenience!

"What is the general process for custom framing?"

It's not as daunting as it may seem. Just bring us your art, and give us a general idea of how you'd like it to be framed, and we will show you a range of options to suit your needs. Not sure what you're looking for? No problem! Our team of experienced designers can guide you through the process. Once you make your selections, we write up a detailed work order, take your deposit (usually 50%), and then we store your art in a safe place until the frame is ready to assemble. Once your order is complete, we'll contact you. 

"How long does the framing design process usually take?"

The answer really depends on what you are framing, and what your goals are. If you only have one or two items, and a clear idea of how you want them framed, it can take as little as five or ten minutes. If you are bringing in multiple items, and/or you want to take time looking at a range of options, the process can last an hour or more. No matter your needs, we will do our best to accommodate!

"How long is the turnaround time for custom orders?"

This can vary depending on our workload, but average turnaround is four weeks. We can also take rush orders with a 30% order fee.

"Do you offer a DIY space for me to frame my own art?"

No, our workspaces are for designing and selecting frame options, and once the order is finalized, we take your art and frame it for you. As we are a high-volume frame and retail shop, we do not have space available for DIY framing. 

"What is the parking situation? Is there a back entry or loading dock for large items?"

Our space does not have a dedicated parking lot, only street parking. We do not have a back entrance or loading dock. Our staff members can assist you with bringing large items into or out of the shop. 

"Can I place an order by phone or email?"

No, orders must be placed in-store, so we can review and confirm all the details before finalizing your order.

"Can you provide pricing quotes by phone or email?"

Tentatively, yes. But quotes made by phone or email are just rough estimates. It's always best to bring your art into the store for the most accurate pricing.

"Do you offer printing services?"

We do not do printing. If you would like some recommendations, just give us a call or message us through the "contact" page and we can refer you to some local shops. 

"Do you have pre-made shadowbox frames?"

We do not carry any pre-made shadowbox frames, but we have a range of custom moulding for shadowbox projects.
