What you see here is the clapperboard used in the feature film Mountainside, filmed entirely on-location in Seattle! The cameraman who worked on the movie brought to us with the goal of creating a truly unique way to display it. We decided on this beautiful shadowbox design with a bright yellow mat and teal lineside, based on the recurring color scheme in the cinematography and marketing of the film. The actual clapperboard makes an appearance in one scene of the film, and it was so cool to see it in action!
Mountainside is best described as a “second coming of age comedic drama." It’s a wonderfully fun, quirky, and heartwarming film that leaves you feeling inspired. And it’s such a pleasure seeing our beautiful city featured on the silver screen! We can’t recommend this movie enough.
