About the artist:
"Carlie Williams began painting during the height of the pandemic having never painted before. She found a box of free art supplies on the sidewalk and a hidden talent opened up to her. She experienced pure joy with a brush in hand; painting seemed to magically ease her chronic pain and anxieties and quickly became a business of its own. She is self-taught and works in acrylics, watercolor, alcohol ink, and mixed media. She uses her deep, continuous journey of self-discovery as inspiration for her work often exploring the contradictions of life. Carlie lives with her son in Ballard where she also owns a massage practice. "
